Case Study : Oel Brack AG, Switzerland

CRM-Suite based on openCRX controls all client acquisition and sales force activities as well as a broad range of back office processes and risk management tasks.

Planning and managing of production processes.

openCRX is tightly integrated with a legacy ERP system (Cobol).

Oel-Brack AG manages all client-related data and a wide range of activities and processes with openCRX. In addition to the sales pipeline, consisting of leads, quotes, sales orders, and invoices for both domestic and international clients, openCRX manages all client interactions, including sales visits, phone calls, e-mails, facsimile transmissions, etc. Sales reps enjoy a full 360 degree view of all clients. Sales visits are planned and managed with iPads, iPhones, Android-devices or laptops running Mozilla Sunbird, which connects directly to openCRX. Sales reps travel with laptops/iPads/Android-tablets that are equipped with 3G cards so that they can securely connect to openCRX and retrieve sales support information or submit quotes and sales orders whenever they need to. Staff at the headquarters take care of the postprocessing, delivery scheduling and notification of clients, invoicing and collection processes. Delivery notifications are automatically routed through the appropriate channel, be it e-mail (Postfix) or Fax (Hylafax+).

All orders are submitted near-real-time to the ERP-System. To ensure that CRM-users have access to all the relevant data stored in the ERP-System (financial accounting, cost accounting, payment data, collection information, credit limits, stock of inventory, etc.), openCRX is tightly integrated with the ERP-System. This enables real-time credit checks, credit risk and price risk management, and advanced client-specific product pricing. openCRX manages thousands of products and client-specific price lists in multiple currencies.

On the production side, openCRX is used to plan and manage production processes like blending, bottling, assembling, quality control, etc. openCRX also creates all the bookings that end up in the ERP system based on piece list information (also managed with openCRX).
